Hanifin for Harley doesn't really help the Stars given their current situation. Right now, Dallas has two top-4 caliber defensemen: Miro Heiskanen & Thomas Harley. They need to ADD someone like Hanifin to those two players, not necessarily swap him into the lineup in exchange for Harley.

Dallas gains nothing by trading Harley for a dman, cant see them doing this and yes I get the factor of moving out March's cap hit but its just not worth it.

The Stars clearly think that Lundkvist could develop into a top-4 caliber player, as well, considering that they traded a 1st+ for him. Hanifin's also relatively young at just 26, which plays a role in why I think he's worth as much as he is in a trade.
