Description
We're going to assume Landy is back and can play at around the level he is used to. Not re-signing Toews because they need depth all over the roster if they really want to contend. Trading Manson to make more space. This UFA class is solid and they now have room to re-sign Rantanen, Byram and Georgiev. 2C will still be an issue in 25-26 but it's possible the have Colton take over there and have Ritchie be the 3C.

Toews is my favorite Av other than Landy, so I'm sad about this possibility. but this is a good way to handle this if they decide not to load up on ELCs and PTOs.

Dont see a guy who has only surpassed 50 games once in last 4 years and has 3x 4.5m cap hit (until he is 34yo) having anywhere near 2nd round value. sorry

Agree. I'm an Avs fan and would love a great return for Manson, but I don't think he gets a 2nd unless he has a really good (and healthy) season this year. Even then, it will be tough.

Quite frankly, I don't care what he returns; they just need the cap space so if it's a 4th and a C prospect, that's fine.
