Nylander cant get 10. if he wants 10 from any other team he will only get 7 years max- the same total amount 70million over 8 years instead is 8.75/ so 9.0 would be my max i would offer him.

The cap is expected to rise by quite a bit; you'll get some flexibility there.

I'd keep Kampf over Hartman, give Bertuzzi and Forsling more. Don't resign Gio, Klingberg, or Domi (unless he does well) and resign Lil

This is all awful, you aren’t trading away kampf, Willy isn’t getting 10M, Bert isn’t taking a pay cut, klingberg might have been our worst signing this off-season I can’t wait for him to be gone, and samsonov is gonna get more than that

You underpaid the free agents by a fair amount.
Hartman is definitely making at least $3M on his next contract. He had 65pts in 2022 and was on pace for 50pts despite injuries last season.
I highly doubt Domi and Bertuzzi will make less than they already do unless they suddenly forget how to play hockey.

Giordano will be in his 40s by that point, it's highly likely this could be his final season.

Leafs are very thin at C in their bottom-six. We are not giving Kampf away for scraps.
Kampf is a need, he is very good on the PK and defensively overall.
