Gibson is not the goaltender worth that cap hit. If Sabres defense will improve - Levi + UPL will be enough.

Agreed - and even if UPL or Comrie aren't up to being a reliable backup and the Sabres were to seek out Gibson, they're not giving up Krebs or taking on Gibson's full cap hit for the next 4 years.

Its fair value but I'd steer clear of John Gibson, too much term

While this is more reasonable than what most fans on here want for Gibson, i just don’t see the Sabres trading for him

He turned us down once, refusing to waive to come here
And Adams (our GM) has been making a HUGE point to only sign/trade for guys who really wanna be here

So while the Sabres were interested in Gibson at one point,
I think it’s safe to say we’ve moved on
