I mean it's a solid offer for sure. But the fact that Kyle Connor is on a bargain of a deal for 3 more seasons he should command a slightly better return than the two likely very late 1st round picks.
Of course Morrow is the main part of that package, but I still believe the Jets would get a more enticing offer from another team if they were to sell Connor, possibly from the Red Wings or the Islanders or someone.

Florida isn’t moving bennett for skjei.

Nothing there for the canes to move pesce. And the defense just got a lot worse

Well, what would the Islanders have to offer that the Canes couldn't?

I'd hope you would retain half on Pesce for this much

Well that depends, if the Jets were to try and still compete, maybe Barzal or Dobson could be involved somehow, but coming to think of it they'd probably just hold on to Connor if that was the case.
If futures was the main interest, your offer would probably be better. The Islanders was a bad example from me, just thought of a non-rebuilding team in the need of offense smile

You gotta let Bennett go man.

Skjei isn't worth that

Respectfully, I wouldn't trade Barzal for KC straight up. They're not far enough apart in skill, and centers are FAR harder to find. Dobson's kind of the same. More valuable position, way younger, better deal. Obviously, Connor's a stud, but those are two pieces I'd be shocked if they were moved in this kind of situation. I thought futures was likely to be the best bet since the Jets aren't exactly the most desirable of destinations for players who want to extend their contracts. Thought prospects and picks would be better for this reason as well as not being a million miles away in value

I don't know why you insist on hurting the Canes defense so much.

It's not doable for TO without retention.

Yeah I didn't mean KC straight up for Barzal or Dobson, but involving them somehow, I think you're right about Barzal holding more value than KC. Dobson I'm not sure, probably fairly close to KC in I'd say, I believe Connors goal scoring ability year in and year out almost outweighs the pros of Dobsons age/contract situation.
Regarding futures being most desirable for the Jets, I agree with you, if they were trading Connor it would likely be for futures. And in that case your offer should be close enough, just not sold on the aspect of the 1st round picks probable lateness smile

Toronto can't do it with their cap situation... You'd have to find a 3rd party team to have double retention or take Timmins with single retention

Toronto accepts if a third party retains.

Great ACGM, love your stuff!
