No point going superstar hunting every offseason, they should just sign a couple of middle six forwards at a good cap hit and keep rolling with the current core.

It’s either go for a big fish. Or focus on depth and use the 12 mill across like Chatfield , Beauvillier etc

I definitely believe they should go for depth, and if they did go superstar hunting Nylander would not be a guy I'd want.

Does it really matter "what he wants". 9.8m X 7 seems high to me for guy who will 28 years of age when his new contract starts.

If he goes to free agency he’s getting at least 10 if not 10.5
