A Quinn Hughes trade doesn't need NEARLY this many assets but lord does it need better ones. Mercer is a good start and Marino would be a solid 2nd pairing for a team, but everything else here is just bleh. I think if you offer Mercer, Marino and a first rounder you'd be starting a conversation. But Lazar and Miller pretty much negate any of the picks you've offered here. Vancouver isn't going to take any cap dumps in return for their best defenseman.

I guess cap dump is the wrong word....He's got a decent contract and he plays reliable 3rd pairing hockey. I just don't see him as being a valuable asset to a team in a trade.
