Description

Myers gets traded after Sept 15.
Team signs Bear. Bear returns in December'ish. Upon return Either Juulsen, Irwin, or Walker get moved--traded or down to minors.
Mikheyev starts on LTIR for like one to two weeks. Upon return likely bumps PDG out of a spot.

I believe Ethan Bear returns to this team at some point. In the time being Noah Juulsen might actually be the best fit for Quinn Hughes. I like this.

There's gotta be a bit more of an incentive to swap for a player at 3 million more than a fifth next year.

Dude nobody cares about the real salary. Briere doesn’t care what Comcast has to pay. Myers would take a 2nd+ to dump especially if you’re getting Walker back in it

Its more about the cap space really. He takes up extra salary and for that we would probably want something in the 3rd round range instead.

I don't see Myers as a downgrade or a liability, just unnecessarily more pricey.
