If the Avs wanted Erik Johnson, they would have signed him. At $3.25M, you’re not getting anywhere near a 4th round pick. Maybe it was a typo from you?

Tbh, I love Erik Johnson. I would've loved it if he had signed a near league min contract, but anyone willing to give him $3.25M does not know what they're doing. He's not the star he once was and has had a couple injuries in the last few years. And we're sooo not trading a pick like that for him.

I’d rather claim someone off waivers than take EJ at $3.25M. Maybe you can deal him for a 5th with 50% retention at the deadline. But that $3.25M is brutal
