Hate to lose Sturm, but that's a good offer. A 2nd and Krebs for Sturm works.

Sturm would be an ideal 4C going forward, he's a lefty, can win faceoffsand plays a 2 way game.

Don't see any point in the Devils foregoing Holtz's immense upside for a middle six fwd that they have little to no use for.
Bad fit, terrible value, ez Devils decline.

Well Holtz was on the table for Meier apparently but only in a one for one scenario.
So I guess the equivalent value to what the Sharks got for Meier would be a fair deal for Holtz.

It's not gonna happen though, Holtz should be a stud and a stapled onto the Devils top 6 for the next decade or so.
