So honest question for Leafs fans: is having that many ELC dudes on one team worth it to keep Nylander? Y'all know your pipeline better than us outsiders. What are your thoughts?

More than crazy to think Minten and Cowan who back in junior this season will be ready for the NHL in 24/25. And having those three ELC Dmen with the Leafs....more than unlikely.
By the post does have the Leafs with lots of cap space.....so I imagine at least one veteran Dman, and two wingers would be likely.
Seems like the Leafs are back in the Dubas style of contract....in this case Nylander, paying a hometown premium. Too much $$$ and certainly too much term.

I just cant justify having Nylander earning more than Kucherov, Tkachuck, and Stone.

Sure more than Meier but to me what Rantanen is making seems perfect 9.25m x 8 years

If he continues to push for 10m I would wait till the TDL and like Vrana for Mantha potentially swing a deal to bring in another star
