They need cap relief, to keep paying price 10.5 is hurting the bottom line lol

In all fairness, I don't think MTL is hurting for funding/cash flow lol easier to just leave him LTIR and keep our quality young defender in Harris.

I don't think this makes any sense for Montreal. Why would a team in their situation give up a good young defenseman for a rental and a guy who's always hurt? LTIR contracts don't seem to be that difficult to get rid of.
