Not that Leason has any value, but Rooney is way to expensive for an AHL player.

Respectfully, i have no reason to believe why Rooney wouldn't make Anaheim's opening night roster.

they would want the third and fifth, also gives them another goalie in they choose to move away from Monty or Allen.

why would they want pearson?

The reason they traded DeSmith is because they had too many goalies on the roster.
