Zero chance of Krug waiving for Chicago, He's not wasting his later years on a team going absolutely nowhere.

These deals are just awful for the Hawks.

There a snowballs chance in hell you get that package for Boeser.

Blues say no
I doubt they will send a first to a team to take Scandella (he only has a year left)
And I don’t think that’s enough for Krug especially for the blues to trade him to the hawks

Agreed Hawks & Blues would have to be the only teams left in the league to want to send players to each other.
Absolutely no way should Hawks send Allan & Kaiser anywhere, especially for Boeser. That is not the type of move a rebuilding team does, irrespective of the picks involved. They need to develop the draft picks they select. That is the foundation for a championship team.

I going to say no and absolutley no chance on the Nucks deal. I'm look at Krug (going on 33, lucky to play 2/3rds of the games a year anymore, and still owed 4 seasons) and Scandella as both being dumps and have no interest is being on the hook for 6.5 to Krug in year 3 and 4. Boeser is a nice player and I would take him for free if the Nucks were giving him away as a neutral asset....but absolutely not giving up Kaiser (who very well may well be a top 4 this year by default (but hopefully by ability in a year or two) and Allen who has a decent chance of being an NHL plaer too. Boeser for a 2nd....sure maybe. For all that, no chance.

Personally I don’t think you have to worry about regression from Krug. Nothing in his game is based off of physical abilities. He’s always going to be able to see the ice the way he does.

However, I’m not sure if I were any other team I’d want to spend that much on a PP specialist. He’s elite at it, and can create offense 5v5. But he can’t play defense at 5v5 and it takes some very sheltered usage to get the best out of him.

prospects will vary by team but no retention on krug is HUGE for STL. i honestly dont think any team would even make an offer if there was no retention
