I don’t see why the blues would do that

Wideman and Evans are fine but we have no place for them

Yeah I wasnt sure, hard to find which team will need a 4th line center at the deadline. I thought the Blues might need one. Who will be centering their 4th line?

Not enough for Zegras

Fair deal (even if Monahan won’t be at 25% of his cap hit)

Way too much to dump Armia

Low return for Evans

Pearson 50% could get a better return

No way does Price have positive value. The second is in the wrong place

Fair on Zegras, hard to pinpoint his exact value.
On the Monahan comment, from Puckpedia: "At the deadline, there are usually about 41 days left out of a 186 day season. That means that at the deadline, a player's cap hit will only count 41/186 of their annual cap hit on the new team."
Armia: maybe the 3rd round is too much, but I added it to avoid all the "not paying enough to dump Armia comments"
Evans: pretty fair trade IMO for an injury-proned 4th line center who earns above 1.5M per year.
Pearson: tough to say, we havent seen him play after his major injury, return non-significant at this point
Price contracts has big value for Arizona. Cap will increase a lot and they have a lot of UFAs with high cap hits.

It’s not Monahan’s cap hit that decreases, it’s his remaining salary.

You have 10m in cap space. Why dump Armia

The chance of a third round pick becoming better than Evans is really smart. Evans is the perfect 4c

Price’s contract has negative value. He will not play anymore. Why would anyone take 10,5m and give up a second. It does no good having him

TBD. Right now, I'd bet my money on Alexandrov.

I can't imagine Anaheim trading Zegras without getting a 2024 first round pick, because I think lots of other teams would offer one in a package for him. Dvorak, as you point out, is an expensive #3C whose contract is severely under water for the final two years, which makes him close to a cap dump, and neither Ylonen nor Primeau are an upgrade on prospects Anaheim has at their respective positions (Perreault and Dostal).

Zegras would command more, a mid 1st isnt high enough
the yotes still have Webers contract past this year, adding Price- i dont see it.
Harris has more value than Ginning- and while Armia is overpaid for his production- giving away a 3rd for a team that doesnt have cap issues- doesnt make much sense. I wouldnt be surprised if they move a young dman though- too many bodies, but the urgency isnt their as long as they can pass waivers for now.
Dvorak and Wideman are both injured- so unlikely to be moved until healthy. Wideman is probably a waiver wire pick up.

I dont know, sunny is a natural center and plays the position well, I think toropchenko will take the right side and neighbors will take the left with sunny down the middle

could be, but all sources point to neighbors taking the left side of the 4th line. the athletic covered it, and that's what we've been seeing in camp too. they are similar players though and wouldn't be surprised to see them play both on the 4th interchangeably
