Desimone and Willman as AHL depth

I think maybe on Nosek…he has looked okay more recently.

Maybe on nosek in a competition for the 23rd roster spot with Foote/someone else. But he should not be guaranteed an NHL roster spot.

How much do you think Anthony Mantha might want? We need size, mixed with skill and rat

I would guess something close to Marcus Foligno’s deal: $4m x 4 years.

Not sure I would go further than 3 years, but that’s probably what market pays for him.

I believe we can do better, Nosek doesnt really have the foot speed to keep up with the style of play we try to employ, as a 4th line center i guess he is okay. I really wanna go out and get a guy like Chandler Stephenson to be our new 3rd line center (he can also play wing like Nosek) but hey its just my opinion, we would definitely construct this team a little bit differently if we were in control

@nhlfan10506

Will luke be a 10.2C RFA or a normal RFA?

I’m a bit confused about how the difference between accrued season (contract) vs accrued season for professsional experience.

Apparently most guys who sign late into the season after college are 10.2C, like Graf

Does Luke also fall under this? If not, why?

If Devils had not made playoffs last year, he would be considered a Group 1 (10.2) RFA, but since he was on roster for more than 10 games (including 12 in two playoff rounds), he becomes a regular RFA since 2022-23 counts as full professional season.

8. SEA 79 pts (games left vs WPG, MIN)
9. CGY 79 pts (games left vs VAN, SJS)
10. NJD 81 pts
11. BUF 84 pts
12. MIN 85 pts

Pick no later than #10 overall…if SEA and CGY finish strong, could get as low as #8 overall

Is there a tween season thread or '24-'25 thread?

Hakstol just canned, ad to the pile. Not advocating for him, merely pointing it out!
