Timmins has done nothing to support any sort of trade value. Podz would be a part of a larger deal for a Hughes partner if a move happened. Timmins ain't it.

I think they both have roughly a 2nd round pick value. Timmins has actually shown well when healthy and IMO is a solid bet to be a top 4 Damn assuming his injuries were just bad luck (concussion, then Knee) and he's recovered.

It is a big gamble though but one I would be willing to take for a team that needs a puck moving RD now. Podkolzin could very well go on to be a top 6 forward but his window is fading and if he doesn't step up soon, his value is going to disappear.

I get that the leafs want depth but Timmins needs to play and I suspect they know that as well.
