Description

Really don't like the look of this roster, but is the likely scenario unless another bigger ticket gets moved out.

As much as the coach likes PDG, that 2nd line is slower than molasses.

As much as the coach likes the compete for Hoglander, the kid has zero finish.

McWard is not a solution for the top pairing - even in sheltered minutes (i.e. pairing Hughes with a vet for D zone draws)

Don't know how long Mikheyev will be on the shelf; but once activated, the team needs to find some sort of salary flexibility to ice a 23 man roster.

I don't hold much hope for the Canucks this season. No cap for a middling team (which isn't uncommon).
It will be at TDL, can the Canucks trade their expiring UFAs for futures, and come next summer spend the free cap space with Myers and other gone wisely?

Agreed that the 2nd line could use some speed, and I think Mikheyev might end up there at some point this season.

I think Hoglander should be dropped to third line, switch with beauvillier who had some succes on the top line last year.

Mcward is legit. No concerns about him in the starting 6
