MTL
  1. Carrick, Sam
  2. Drysdale, Jamie [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Carrick is to balance out roster spots.
ANA
  1. Mailloux, Logan
  2. Struble, Jayden
  3. Ylönen, Jesse
  4. 2025 2nd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Mailloux - Former first-round pick, although he had a rocky past he seems to have cleaned up his act and has had a very impressive camp. He is a big RD with very good skating and quite the shot.

Ylonen - RW with an excellent shot, seems as though he may be falling out of favour with the Canadiens. Has had quite a lackluster camp, a change of scenery could be what he needs.

Struble - Former 2nd-round pick, solid LHD had a good season in the AHL last year. 22 y/o and could still become a decent depth defenceman.

2nd

This is basically a late first and 3 2nds.
2.
MTL
  1. Pinto, Shane [RFA Rights]
OTT
  1. Mesar, Filip
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (MIN)
  3. 2025 4th round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
Im not sure how far off I am on Pinto value, Mesar is a recent first round pick who seems to be developing well.

If I were Dorion I'd likely take that trade IF!!! They can't get him signed for what they are hoping to sign him for. Very solid pitch for sure.

TB doesn't have the cap space to do that come December easy pass. You think Allen gets a 2 Bhahahahahahaha !! TB waits for Toronto to waive either Jones or Woll (not carrying 3 goalues) or Detroit Lyon or Florida Stolarz or Carolina Rantaa ( if they choose to keep Kochetkov up) or Sandstorm with Philly .

Not sure about the Drysdale trade. I think Montreal would rather have Mailloux.

Dorion probably asks for Mesar + Monahan. He wants to win now so they need a ready piece.

Mesar struggled this year but I think the value is fair

Still confident he becomes a solid middle 6 guy

Thats fair, though Montreal might ask for a tad bit more back if its Monahan + Mesar, IMO.

I feel like Drysdale's ceiling is alot higher than Mailloux's and that seems like a Hughes kinda move to make. Maybe you take out Struble to make it more even.

Any trade involving Pinto will need to be an overpayment.

This ain't it.

I had just looked into Mailloux and it was said he had a super disappointing camp, silencing all the supporters who said he'd be an immediate difference maker for Montreal. If that's the main piece of a Drysdale deal I don't think Verbeek bites.

A problem is people don't know that Ottawa didn't want to trade Pinto for DeBrincat last year and for Chychrun last March. They value him very highly

Mesar is a good prospect but absolutely zero chance they value him as highly as Pinto even IF they decided to trade Pinto (very unlikely)

The 3rd and 4th have very little impact here

I don't expect them to but was going through the motions I put the probability of them doing that some where around me hitting the Florida Lotto Wednesday.
