Evolving Hockey was almost right on the money here for a 3 year term.

Would have loved a long term contract but I'm happy hes signed before the season starts, gotta think Drysdale gets done by the end of the week now

I don't know. This bridge deal essentially locks him down for the next 11 years (assuming he gets his mega 8-year extension after this contract is up). Will it cost more? Sure, but I'd rather have him locked up for 11 years than run the risk of losing a 27 or 28 year old Zegras in the middle of his prime.
