I think that makes the most sense for you guys

    Tkachuk Stuzle Giroux
    Greig Norris Tarasenko
    Joseph Pinto Batherson

How I’d play the top 9, thoughts?

With the way Smejkal, Greig and Jarventie have played, I have no problem with this anymore . The depth is fine

Hopefully we claim Sokolov and give him a run while Killorn is out

Sokolov is a good player but I doubt his skating will let him keep up with the nhl pace. That’s his only issue , otherwise he will be a 3rd liner

Definition of the term "tweener". Too good for the AHL, not fast enough for the NHL. Can't make it in the bottom 6 because you aren't fast and not physical enough. Can't make the top 6 because you can't get to the offensive spots fast enough. I thought he was working on his skating... :/

That’s where I’d imagine him to play in our lineup if claimed, either 3rd or 4th line

If I am Anaheim....i would acquire Kubalik for future considerations to fill in for Killorn. FC...Sens can reacquire Kubalik (Ducks to retain 50%) a week before TDL for a 2nd Rd pick. (ie if Sens do not exercise the option, Ducks have a week to trade him as a TDL rental to someone else.)

Can’t trade a guy back to the same team if you retain for at least 365 days I believe

OK My bad. Kubalik to Anaheim to fill in for Killorn. Sens receive Tyson Hinds. (good young LD but buried deep on the Anaheim depth chart). Anaheim gets a proven goal scorer for this season and trades him to a contender at the TDL for a good draft pick.

Tarasenko never been a great overall player and he has slowed down with injuries. He needs to produce to be useful, best way to do this is to have him with Tkachuk-Stutzle who are our best duo. Norris-Batherson is also a deadly duo, don't split them. The real Batherson is back so if Norris is healthy, they're going to be dynamite. Joseph on their line adds speed and forecheck giving them more time and space to make their plays. Plus that line would be really good defensively. I'd have Giroux play with Greig because they have shown chemistry and Giroux is actually Greig's model (of course Giroux would be on PP1 and various game situations, roll the first 3 lines evenly otherwise)

    Tkachuk - Stutzle - Tarasenko
    Joseph - Norris - Batherson
    Greig - Pinto - Giroux
    Smejkal - Kastelic - MacEwen

The real Drake Batherson drives play like Jesper Bratt
