This would be the worst trade the Habs have ever made, and there are some horrible trades in their history.

Is it even that bad though?

Swap a late 1st (could easily be pick 32) for a likely top 5 1st
Swap a late 2nd for an early 2nd
Swap Kotkaniemi for Dach, which many people would argue is an upgrade
Yes you take on Armia, but the other value makes it a pretty good deal for Carolina

They’re not being serious. This would be the worst trade Habs have ever made. It’s not even close. Dach is already better than KK and will be WAY better this reason and going forward.
