If Pettersson was available I think it would be pretty hard to say no to that offer. But I don’t think Carolina would do that. And Pettersson is not available

I think this is around what you are looking at for a Pettersson trade. Canucks probably flip Teravainen on to someone else. Probably Canucks retain on Petty and you add another pick if you do this.

Obviously this is only if Canucks can't keep Pettersson.

I’d throw in Hoglander. Carolina likes him, maybe snag another draft pick in the deal.

As a Canucks fan, thats tempting. Having said that, Pettersson wont be leaving. This is about money despite what player and agent would have you think. Team wants to see Petey put up another 100 point season, and Agent wants to wait for players to clear out and the CAP go up next season. He's an RFA too.
