Saw the dallas trade from someone else and I know Flyers don't want Seguin but Boston needs a C. I absolutely want Stankoven and multiple picks so imo this trade helps flyers long term.

Unless Philly's doctors are miracle workers, I highly doubt Muzzin puts on a pair of skates let alone play top 4 minutes.

This also adds to the Leafs cap space conundrum by adding a player to their roster. Muzzin doesn't apply to the Leafs cap hit thanks to LTIR. If not for this, I could see the Leafs trading for an older player. It fits their style...

Gotcha. Didn't realize Muzzin was LTIR. Well, that idea was taking on salary for Suter to go somewhere to compete.

Nothing about this is realistic. How are you gonna charge Dallas a premium for taking Seguin then turn around and say he’s worth Brusk, Carlo, and a first cuz you retained a little salary?? If he was worth that, Dallas would just make that trade and keep all those other assets. I’ve always liked Konecny, but Stankoven will be a better player as soon as this year. I’m not saying prime Stankoven will be better than prime Konecny but Stankoven is coming in and Konecny is on the back nine. Laughton seems like one of those guys that has a good stretch of hockey, gets a big payday, then falls off into bad contract land. I’m not saying that’s 100% the case obviously I can’t see the future… but GMs are getting smarter. Philly should def cash in on him while his value is high. I just hope it isn’t Nill that bites on it. Even if Muzzin wasn’t on LTIR, good luck getting Suter to play in Canada

Yeah the added trades I think are logical but I still think the original Dallas trade the other guy posted makes sense for neither team

Nothing about it makes sense. The fact that the original idea wasn’t yours doesn’t make it any more realistic
