I'm not totally familiar with the Canes side but I'm not sure why this couldn't work. The Canes lose 1.5 million from this transaction. Getting rid of someone like Martinhook would solve the issue instantly, and Jarnkrok would be there to fill his position, too.

Yeah but Martinook isnt Lafferty💀 they wont move him like that. Hes really good/important for them

Actually, looking at it from the Canes side, this move works completely fine. You wouldn't even have to send anyone down. You'd still be over 1 million under the cap with 3 healthy scratches. I'm really confused considering you're a Canes fan. Are you implying that it would be an issue for next season?

This deal on a cap side would be totally fine. You would actually be clearing 1.3M.

It works fine until one of the goalies gets hurt, but not bad enough for LTIR and you have to call back up Pyotr.

Jarnkrok and Lilly are bottom six/bottom pairing guys for the Canes. Is that what they want to use their cap space on?
