Hawks don't need a LHD guy so easy no

Doubt the Blackhawks would be interested in paying for anything that isn't a young star or a prospect

I don't have a good reason for why the Stars would do this... but I don't have a reason why they would not either...

The value in the Hawks trade isn't bad but they probably decline. Hanas is an interesting prospect. But his skating isn't that good and that's a trait the Hawks value highly so not sure they'd have a lot of interest in Hanas. Maata would probably be a healthy scratch most nights or just flipped half retained to another team.

Easy no for the Hawks, as others have mentioned no need for another LHD, if Maatta was a RHD perhaps. also, Hanas is a mid-level prospect that probably gets lost in the depths of the Blackhawks prospect pool.The combination is no where near valuable enough to the Hawks to make them want to give up a pick.
