Guhle is more of a show or go home this year had a great start but isnt elite yet... same with dach horrible during his elc and sparked a bit in mtl seems to make everyone around him better but no where near a solidified top 6 center, both players show flashes of what they could be but if guhle isnt a top pairing guy and if dach isnt a top 6 center vancouver shouldnt be comfortable with this bet especially since the 2024 pick is protected. More quality then quanity.

You're right that's not even getting Pettersson out of Vancouver, That offer would easily get beaten. Plus Pettersson isn't leaving Vancouver for a much worse Montreal team. He wants to go to a perennial playoff team. Not a Montreal that's rebuilding and year from competing.
