Canucks really don't need to rebuild they're in a pretty good spot as is right now, and even better if they can move Garland. Have them predicted to place 2nd in the Pacific this season. They're core is one of the best in the league IMO. Petterson, Hughes, Demko, Miller, Hronek, Boeser... Solid.

I'm not going to say your offer is off from a value perspective, but it just makes no sense. I think the Canucks would ask for Clarke. Then you do something to balance the salary. In other words, this is never happening.

Agreed. I also think Byfield should be untouchable as well. He's a "unicorn" and can be Tage Thompson good. Big and fast players take time to develop.
