OP, look below, Brannstrom is actually quite good at hockey.
He has averaged 24 pts per 82 games since 2020-21 (when he was 21 y/o) and his defensive play took a MAJOR bump last season, he was actually one of the best 3rd pairing D-men in the league. He's quick and smart, which makes him really good at puck recoveries and zone exits, and in transition
It would be pretty stupid to give him away for free or even worse, pay to move him, particularly when the Sens need him this season (Kleven is not ready enough)
The no brainer option is to move Kubalik, who is not really needed

100% the best way to go about it IMO.
I don't like Branstrom and Sens got a lot of good defensemen playing in Belleville. Pinto is worth losing Branny and the third.
IDK if the Sharks take that offer though.
Brannstrom is A LOT better than any D-men in the organization not currently in the Top-4. He's the only one capable of playing in that Top-4 if there's an injury and actually do well.
There's still a few Sens fans who are not "Brannstrom fans" but it's a minority now.

I think sharks should take it. Their defense is pretty bad, maybe brannstrom breaks out for them too. Who knows.
Even without "breaking out", he'd easily be one of their best D-men.
