One Million dollars to Bouma? A guy who is bad on the PK, can't score, has no speed, and is worse than Jordin Tootoo. Although small, it's one of Stan's worst moves, up there with Seabrook's contract and trading Danault.

While Bouma has some skill defensively, this is a relatively bad signing by Chicago.

I thought this guy was decent with a possible upside at one point in time... I'll trust Chicago on this getting some depth for a long Post Season run or whatever. They probably wont have the Hossa salary on the books so this is like a cheaper replacement for Kruger I supposed... Funny must be some Flames fans all saying No to this signing haha smile... Then he will have the GWG in the SCF without anybody admitting they were down on him smile. Seen a lot worse signings so can't really say this is a bad one its a pretty low salary when see Jordan NOlan is like 950K even Shore just got like 925K. Seen Chicago have a lot worse contracts like Versteeg and others... Though guess the trash to them became something to Flames so its all relative who fits your system or style etc.
