- Ottawa's advantage over other teams is Sanderson-Chychrun-Chabot, they have to keep this if they ever hope to get over the hump
- Chabot is not the problem... coaching and management have been for years now. I always said, change that before moving Chabot or you'll regret it (like Zibanejad, Gustavsson, etc)
- Always loved Pageau but 3 years x 5.0 AAV is not a contract we should be looking to add
- If you're getting Romanov, Pageau + 1st for Chabot, what is the value for Pinto here?

This is an absolutely awful trade. I wouldn't even do this trade if you took Pinto out. Ottawa fans severely underrating Chabot because he looks sloppy sometimes even though he drives offense at an elite level will never not be weird to me. Also for a fanbase so sensitive about guys not wanting to be here, Chabot has wanted to be here since the very beginning
He sacrificed a lot for this team, could have signed shorter term bridge and asked for a trade but decided to stick around, and help develop the QC fanbase
This is Spezza version 2.0, Sens fanbase really needs to wake up before doing something stupid again. The reason why the Sens are struggling to take the next step is NOT because of Chabot. Try changing Dorion and the coaching staff first.
