I have suggested that Seider trade before and they didn't object. We shall see!

Really, cool…a Mo and Mo 1-2 would look good in Leafland…plus I am not a Marner fan and think he can be easily and way more economically 80-90% replaced…much like you have done with Kane.

Lol no chance we move Seider. Marner and his big cap hit don't come close to making it worth while for us. We have alot of pretty good forwards now and coming up but are very limited in RHD behind Seider.

Wasn't a single Detroit fan that said yes to that trade in his last post.

I agree, Marner is great, doesn't make sense for us though.

Toews is taking the year off, He's not signing with Toronto.

Fat chance of Patrick Kane signing with Toronto. He wants the Eastern US only.

Detroit declines the Seider trade, No way are we paying Marner close to Matthews money which it's going to take.

Noah Hanifin wants the US only. Plus latest news is that he's close to re-signing back with Calgary.

Zero chance in hell of Andrew Copp leaving his home town of Detroit for the like of Toronto. He already said that he's not returning back to Canada.

Marner is great but his cap hit is greater and about to be even greater…just economics…I think he is easily partially replaced for way less.

No it’s not bad but I would value a top pairing D who looks like he does it all way higher than a play making side kick who plays very good perimeter pee wee hockey.

Why do you decline?

Wi gs lite at RHD and Marner is a great player, but his next deal will be huge and Wings need defense more than another Winger. It just does not make sense from a Wings perspective.

Not just from a Wings perspective but any GM, I’m sure even Dubas.

After a #1C the next most sought after position is a #1RHD. You can make the argument that there aren't 32 #1Cs or 32 #1RHDs in the NHL right now.
