I really don't think that's a wise use of assets. My reasoning is as follows:

1.) using a 1st while downgrading the D is unwise (Fabbro < Ceci who has actually been performing well in his role this year 4-4 on-ice goals with a 58.6% xGF on the 1st pair)
2.) whatever you think Fabbro is that's making you offer so much for him, I don't think he's that
3.) if you're going to target one of NSH's RD using a 1st+, at least pick the one that has a track record with Ekholm and that's playing top-4- Carrier (though, I don't think he'd be worth a 1st, either)
4.) Sissons is a good target but I genuinely don't think subbing him in for McLeod addresses the scoring problem in the bottom; add him to a bottom-6 that keeps McLeod
