Hawks decline. Niemela isn't enough to get Murphy. And Niemela is the only piece in that package the Hawks might have interest in.

You're completely delusional if you think the hawks decline that, this trade is ridiculous...

Hawks definitely decline this. They trade away one of their top 2 potential assets (Murphy) and another decent piece (Dickinson) and get back ONE potential future piece (Niemela). No chance Hawks do this. And yeah, I see Robertson in the deal too. Like I said, one potential future piece.

If the Hawks move any of those 3 at the deadline, it will be for futures. Not other pending UFA's and aging vets.

The hawks don't decline this because thankfully for you your management has basic common sense. I thought leafs fans were bad but the hawks posse on here takes the cake.

Is Nylander enough for your aging, overpaid defenseman? Matthews? Both?

HAWKS DECLINE!

A.) Qty does not equal quality
B.) Hawks are building for the future, not the present. When they decide the time is right to move Murphy, they will want picks & prospects not cast offs & fringe players. I’m sure they will take whatever they can get for Perry at TDL (probably w/retention) Dickinson ; not sure if they will want to keep him a bit longer or take whatever they can get at aTDL. You don’t need to take it so personal , it’s just the direction they are headed.
