Not enough for Hanifan.

Still not sure on these though, the picks are good, but thats a ton of UFAs/RFAs expiring and its either too many or not enough moves.

Out of the 26 guys above, 13 are UFA/RFAs with really only one big UFA in Mantha to free up cap. Maybe too many picks and not enough signed/contracted bodies coming back?

I think Canucks do this deal. Prefer a RHD but with Wallinder and Brz coming up in 1-3 years would be great to get a LHD vet to pair with them long term.

Not a big fan of the fit for Lindholm and Washington. I think if Washington targets a center, it’ll be for someone similar to Kuznetsov.

With Backstrom unoffically calling it, It makes sense they need a center ASAP. I don't disagree but the center market is thin.

More than enough tanev goes for a 2nd unretained 7/10 times a 3rd 1/10 times which I thought was crazy and a 1st 2/10 times all from flames fans

They’ll definitely look to make a move for someone but Backstrom retiring isn’t as big of a hole at Center as one might expect. He was playing 3C before he stepped away and McMichael and Lapierre are both now up to potentially play center, with Strome and Kuznetsov on the top 6. I honestly think if they go somewhere it’ll be more likely that they target a winger, since they’re decently thin on the right wing outside of Wilson.

Could be but a lot of these teams are pushing for a deep playoff spot and want all the extra bodies in case of injury. I think even with all the pending UFA, Calgary could make a splash in free agency due to increase cap, new building and such.

I also agree Hanifin isn't enough, but he does have a NMC and NTC. So it does make it slightly difficult to get top value.

If that's what Flames fans say then sure. I would love Tanev on the Leafs however I feel like they would want Lilly and a first for Tanev retained. Klingberg has little value other than being right handed lol .

Lindholm actually started his career on the right wing funny enough, and even plays the right side of the power play if I'm not mistaken. You could easily yet the young guys continue to play in the middle and have him off to the side IF the Caps want to push for the playoffs.

Leafs never include a first with lily and leafs never trade lily for tanev it makes no sense when he’s definitely gonna be better then tanev next year between his increases and tanevs decreases

That’s a possibility. Still not sold on his game meshing with the Capitals scheme, but a possibility. I think Konecny is a more likely target though.

He should be, I have been that for years for Lilly and he hasn't taken that next step yet. I sure hope he does.

I feel like Konecny will be the hardest to obtain. I feel like every team will want him.

Maybe the Avs would do that (dependent on AB being acquired first of all), if they have injuries or feel the need for a little more depth scoring. Not unreasonable at least.

Briere is seemingly very tough to negotiate a fair price with as well. MacLellan has never seemed to balk at price though (for better or worse)

I wouldn't mind Beauvillier. He and Tatar can rotate, or maybe Tatar takes LW and Beauvillier takes the right while Wood can rotate with cogs. Those are all just simple ideas.
