So you took on Chiarot to dump Krug and added a third but then turn around and suddenly Chiarot has enough value to pull a top trade piece at the deadline with a 2nd round pick? The math isn't mathing in this scenario.

I think if there were something around Nylander and Kyrou it’d be 1-1. That being said, I’m not entirely too sure why the Blues would want to do that unless Nylander isn’t above 9m long term. And at that point I doubt Toronto would really want to make that swap

Dont see why Detroit wouldn't cut the middle man and do the CGY trade.

laugh laugh Wow so Detroit trades a cheaper Chiarot with less term for Torey Krug, And only gets back a stinking 3rd round pick. Yeah no thanks Krug can't even stay healthy his body is badly beaten up.
