I can see why LA would make that trade, but I don't really see why Buffalo would. Am I missing something?

Now that he's healthy, Alex Turcotte has looked really good for the Reign so far this year. I don't think the Kings are interested in moving him.

He'll be the first forward recalled when the Kings suffer another inevitable forward injury.

That may be so, but Turcotte has done exactly nothing in the NHL. Krebs at least has a 26pt season under his belt. I'm not saying that is something to write home about, but its better than 0pts in 12 games.
