Description

The greatest ‘lines’ in hockey:

Below are ten best lines, forward and defense, in alphabetical order of team. I used data from Evolving Hockey, Natural Stat Trick, Money Puck…but not all based on stats. Let me know what you think and who I may be missing

(Someone will complain about McDavid not listed…this is not a list of best players. His most frequent winger is Leon Draisaitl, who I’ve been told is a center…so cannot have it both ways. And McDavid, Kane, Brown combo has only played 15 minutes with 0 GF, 3 GA. No reason bringing it up).

JT and Willy both have 14 points on the season, both have been electric

And TAmpa comes before TOronto

Nylander has 5 PP pts, JT has 4

If they did their even strength damage with same LW, they may be on here.

As much as I'd like 88 to move up with 34 and 16 to move down with 91... 88 and 91 have so much chemistry...

Some interesting sidenotes. From a Minnesota perspective.

Brodin/Faber has been split up the last few games because Spurgeon has been out with injury and Evason has been trying to keep the defense afloat because of that. Which is a shame, because those two were unreal together.

The Kaprizov - Hartman - Zuccarello line has been horrendous despite its production. So bad in fact, that Evason finally relented and broke them up after the 1st period of the Wild's game against the Capital's. He trotted out the newly built Kaprizov - Rossi - Boldy line for the final two periods of that game. It looked really good, as one might expect.
