Why would SJ do that?

Why would you draft Matthews and then turn around and trade Marner?
Or draft McDavid and turn around and trade Draisaitl?

This doesn’t make any sense sharks need both of these guys! Now I’m not saying these are reasonable comparable’s but it’s just to get my point across.

And you guys need Slaff to get his game together to support and protect Caufield and Suzuki on that top line.

Well said. I wouldn’t use “protect”, he doesn’t have a lot of grit like Tkachuk, but complete that line for sure

Meh should get some grit! That top line is talented but small and needs a tough big wing to support them.
