Yeah, Montreal can't retain on two players and likely wouldn't be interested in that return for Monahan and Allen retained.

If Monahan stay healthy he will be one of the premier trade target. He won’t be cheap to acquire him.

Monahan healthy always have been a excellent players. If he can stay healthy the whole year Mtl will receive a lot of phone call and price for him will likely be pretty high due to the position he play, the impact that he have and is contract situation.

somehow even though you cant retain on more than 3 players its still more realistic than your embarrassing offer
