I don't think the Canes are looking to subtract from their roster unless the offer is something they really can't say no to. Rosen is a great prospect, but the first will likely be very late and is two years from now. Not to mention Rosen wouldn't really help the team win this year.

We don't really need a top 4 d, we need a consistent bottom pair at 5v5. Dahlin carries anyone on line 1, and Power has been unbelievable on the second pair with anyone he plays with.

Can I offer you one Tony DeAngelo? He is a consistent(ly bad) bottom pair...

I don't think the Sabres should be looking at hanifin, pesce is interesting. I don't see the Sabres moving high end futures for rentals, pesce would have to have something agreed to before they would do this, plus not sure how the Sabres see their payroll going forward, but having dahlin, Samuelsson, and power all signed long term, they might not be excited to add another highly paid d.

I wouldn't go after Hanifin, good player but don't think he fits what we need. If I was trying to deal with Calgary it would be for Andersson. Pesce is interesting, I doubt Carolina moves him and would depend on a Contract Extension.

Highly doubtful that the Sabres will pay like this for “rentals”
And idk that we’d be interested in giving with player a big extension that they’d want- we just gave huge deals to Dahlin & Power & idk that we’d wanna commit the Cap Space to fit Hanifin or Pesce long term- maybe Pesce- MAYBE
