Ya they'd probably do this. They could even pursue Bear on top of it with the cap space. Need defensive depth so it would be a yes imo.

They're all pending UFAs this season, so the timing doesn't line up. We have a need for Lyubushkin. Acquiring Beauvillier only to bench Silfverberg doesn't make any sense.

It’s funny how much you hate Silfverberg but are willing to add another bad player at a high cap hit. Silf has been perfectly fine this season. Probably the ducks best defensive fwd.

I mean, they could have just not put McGinn in the lineup lol

That’s Johnston’s spot thru this 1st part of the season. He needs to be replaced and McGinn is just getting healthy so it makes sense. Johnston hasn’t been bad but he can’t keep up with his line mates who aren’t even fast. McGinn will upgrade that or possibly the 3rd line but Silf hasn’t been a problem, as I said he may be the ducks best defensive fwd this season.
