Description

Assuming Draisaitl wants out, this moves a lot of cap space around and actually gives the rangers 3.5-4 mil to work with in the off season. is this how it actually would play out? Knowing Drury, probably not. Kakko has been bad, the goodrow contract is bad, Mika has 2 point at 5v5 through 14 games and if ur looking to rebuild then why would u take on a big contract. The Tarasenko trade might be the only one that gets remotely close. However, Drury is a wizard so what do i know.

Pass on Tarasenko. Draisaitl would cost Zibanejad + Lafreniere + Othmann + 1st.

Not really attractive for the Oilers... A lesser Draisaitl, a struggling young player, a small cap dump and a late first?

I also don't see why Ottawa would do that... Value is there by accumulation but the Sens would need to be out of it by a good margin at the deadline before moving him... None of these pieces help the Sens this season.

It's going to be funny when Edmonton doesn't move Draisaitl until next season at the TDL and they get way less than people hope or Edmonton won't move him and will just get nothing in return when he walks away in free agency.

The Edmonton trade is unrealistic. There is a chance that Holland would take that cause he's a bad GM and desperate, although a pretty low one cause let's be honest that's not enough value for Drai. But do you really think Zibanejad would waive his NMC to go to Edmonton of all places?
