I have no objections but depends how Staios would see that. MacEwen was an UFA signed for 3 years, Lazar and Tierney played for the Sens before.

I don't mind this because Tierney would be in the AHL and Lazar would play in both leagues depending on injuries

If Calgary opens up some room cap wise what would NJ be willing to part with to dump Palat ?

I would not trade Palat. Yes his contract is a little nuts, but his playoff experience is helpful.
