Detroit is not interested.

Draiseitl is older than anybody else in the Detroit core. He is only signed for one more year and there's no guarantee that he stays. If he walks after next season then Detroit would have given up a huge amount of their future for absolutely nothing.

Detroit will be contending in, at the earliest, three to four years time and any trades made will have to fit that timeframe, this trade doesn't.
