That’s just a stupid comment and you look dumb for agreeing with it Gofnut999

Lindholm has been Calgary’s 1C for years now and has been nominated for the Selke 4x Times and should have won it in 2020-21, check it out:

Lindholm Awards Look at Right Side Column

Sure, he's had some good seasons as 1C but he's been more of a 2C in his career and that's what he'll likely remain in his 30s. Second, just because the voters vote him for the Selke doesn't mean he has that level especially when they rely on +/- and usage.

“Sure he’s been good at playing 1C the last few years, but he’s not a 1C”. Okay… lol

Just a heads up, it ain’t a bunch of elementary school kids voting on who receives the Selke Trophy there Bud, it’s a Professional Association dedicated to watching and reporting on NHL Hockey on a daily basis

If all they cared about was +/-, then Bergeron wouldn’t have won it in 2020-21 lol. Bergeron was +26 and Runner-Up Elias Lindholm was +61 fml 🤦‍♂️

That said, those same Voters are clearly biased towards Eastern Conference Teams & Players

No, just mirroring you to illustrate how annoying you come across lol

What happened to the Great Jake DeBrusk! Put him back there. Or play Lindholm on the Wing

In any event, if Lindholm were playing where Zacha is, he’d be producing far more. Lindholm is definitely under performing, but to me that explainable. He’s on a struggling team with a revolving dooor of wingers and the one they’re trying again to force chemistry in Huberdeau is completely lost right now and they’re clearly not a fit together

It’s clear BOS doesn’t have much of value in terms of Trade Bait because they don’t want to consider giving up anything of value that might be, so it is what it is

He is there. Debrusk is 3rd on the depth chart at wing behind Pasta and Marchy. They need a 4th as Geekie/Frederic/JVR are not working out in a top 6 5v5 role. JVR been serviceable but is much better on PP than 5v5.

Yes, the same writers who are busy half the time writing a piece and not watching a game. When they do watch a team, it's often just the team they cover and everyone have their biases. Beyond that, just because someone watches a game doesn't mean they're good evaluators and know everything.

Nobody wakes up and says "hey, let's discredit the players playing in the West just for fun".

You’re funny. Does having more points mean they’re playing better than the other!? If that’s what you think you are just a pints jockey and simply don’t have a clue

My bad, I meant Marchand

Rare instance where I have to disagree with other B's fans. Lindholm to me is a #1C and his production over the last 3 years makes that evident. He's not the the level of Bergeron defensively, but honestly no one really is. Lindholm finished 10th or better in Selke voting for 3 of the last 5 years, which is impressive as there are very few guys who consistently are in the top 10 of Selke voting year after year.
