Kane has no value to the leafs, he isn't playing in the top 6 because he doesn't bring the element the big 4 need. Knies and Bertuzzi style of play is what the big 4 need and Kane isn't bumping any of the big 4 out of the top 6 so leafs pass.

He's training in Toronto but that's not very far from Buffalo where he is from and Toronto probably has amazing hockey training so I don't think the Leafs are a place for him, he knows Kampf, Domi, Matthews very well I think but still joining the team I really don't think so.
