Nothing about Wideman is god-like. This team is better off with any internal depth option.

Jagr is a different story. Stalberg a decent depth add. As a non-ANA fan, I would not be happy to see Jagr sign in ANA.

Also have to think that Rakell is going to stay on Getzlaf's wing as long as he's scoring at the rates he did last year.

Wideman is a shot blocking machine; a top four penalty-killing defenceman to replace vatanen after the trade (Montour replaces his powerplay ability).

Jagr is a great addition to GETZLAF AND EAVES (NOT GETZLAF AND RAKELL)

Seriously, have you watched the ducks at all? Rakell only plays with getzlaf when Perry is on the line. Otherwise it was usually Eaves and Ritchie. Rakell plays with Perry and Kase/some wing depth. In this case, it's stalberg who adds scoring ability and size which is exactly what RC/the ducks love to use on the team.

To Recap:
Wideman is Vatanen's Top 4 replacement
Jagr is for playing with GETZLAF AND EAVES
Stalberg adds size and ability to compliment Perry and Rakell.

Wideman is awful, you would be better off signing someone like Cody Franson to compliment a very good puck moving d group with the likes of Lindholm, Fowler, Montour, etc. I mean you already have a pylon in Bieksa, why further denigrate when you can add.

Nah... would have to be McIlrath for Fowler for it to be god-like. McIlrath >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fowler.

Yeah, Wideman is terrible and has been for a while.

Love Jagr, but he isn't really what we need here. We need a true top 6 talent, not some aging player that can chip in a few points.

Stalberg is another terrible player.

Yeah I don't like this at all either. Yes, our forwards look better, but damn our defense doesn't look cupworthy at all. wideman is slow, Bieksa is terrible now, and you forced Montour to his off side, which is terrible for a developing dman.
