I'll be curious to see if it will be enough for 50% retained on Tanev though. There might be a team willing to give a 1st and a prospect. I'd be willing to add another lesser pick to this deal for the retention, but I'm not too big on giving up a 1st for Tanev unless those conditions of team success are attached.

Really? I heard the part about how he felt hurt when the team didn't offer him a contract until after free agency started, but I didn't hear him say he doesn't want to play for VAN now.
