Im sure a 4th and a tad more gets it done from ANA, but theres no way the cap will work.

You've got alot of waivers guys AND both Liljegren and timmins coming off LTIR, so you'd have to move a salary, not a pick

With retention, a 2nd

I don’t think we are looking to move him at all

Because we aren’t looking to move him sweetheart

You want someone who isn’t on the block = overpay to get them

it's the ducks lmao. they are one of the most irrelevant teams and still have a long way to go till thinking abt playoffs. i dont care if theyre willing to move him or not... best offer they'd ever get for ilya is a late 3rd. if they refused that they would be silly, seeing as he's not moving the needle to carry them to the playoffs as a literal fringe 3rd pairing defenseman

Maybe read the "with retention" part. If you want to take his entire salary we'll let him go for a third at the TDL, and not sooner. The fact that you are ignoring is that he's the partner for our Russian rookie who we took early in the first round, his development is worth more to us than a mid round pick, and so far he likes being paired with Lyubushkin. So incentives is to break that couple up, or go find a different physical RHD

Are you aware the leafs traded a 2nd round pick to get him in the first place?
